From March 10 to March 15 a unique VVOB seminar took place in Blankenberge, Belgium. More than 88 employees from all partner countries (six from Zambia) gathered for the seminar 'one.vvob.be!'. Together they explored their activities.
The focus was on the exchange of expertise and experiences. External speakers challenged them in this. Some current and future Belgian partners were also present so that they could be part of this important VVOB chapter. One day was specifically dedicated to the Flemish educational context. Numerous schools and other educational actors opened their doors to welcome the VVOB staff. They observed, asked plenty of questions and returned with a backpack full of inspiration for their own programmes.
Together they were able to strengthen the internal capacity of the organisation: evaluation of each other's activities, integration of a quality system, vision on 'capacity development’,... A welcome bonus was the opportunity to do some team building, crossing all digital, geographic, cultural and programme boundaries.
